Negative perceptions

As granted as breath: we bleed...
For some: blood is blood; running red as always, serving perhaps a scarlet reminder of past mistakes, or penance for faults in one's actions.
But for others: blood runs black... Black as ink. An ink that can build off those very same faults, or perhaps just a written account for them...

Yet, both tend to serve a common purpose: A mirror, or a medium to peer into one's intentions... one's morality; one's "perception" of the things present...

Yet, despite all this potential, they both suffer an impersonal inevitability.
Trivial, whether you ran red, or black... For, ever known: you'll run out.
